If you’ve clicked on this post its a good indication that you want to rock a office holiday party outfit that is cooler than the one you wore last year or you want to shine out as the fashionista at your office holiday party. Are you over the reds and greens? Even someone like me, who is a holiday fanatic, am a tad exhausted by the traditional colors and holiday outfits. I’ve been writing more posts that gear to the not so basic holiday look. I’m excited to share ideas to help you put together a cool little office holiday party outfit. The style tips in this post are going to avoid red and green all together, if that’s not your thing then, you’ve come to the wrong post, lol! Scroll below for easy-to-follow tips to help you bring the cool girl vibes to your holiday office party outfit!
Go for jewel tones
Jewel tones are a way to step up the glam without sticking to the traditional colors of red or green. Although there are jewel tones of Ruby Red and Emerald Green I would avoid those all together and go for purple, blue or yellow jewel tones.
Say yes to leather!
Leather is your cool girl effect for this outfit. I went with a leather bag and jacket but don’t shy away from leather pants/skirt. You can pair the leather bottoms with your jewel tone top or blazer. FYI my dumpling bag is only $30!!
Pair casual with glam
My top is a button up top from The Good Jane which is a casual/ staples line. Pairing the unexpected casual top with the luxe satin skirt is another way to give that dose of cool.
