As much as I’ve read in magazines and online that it’s ok to wear white after Labor Day, I still don’t see white jeans in the winter as often as I’d like. Whether or not to wear white jeans in the winter has been a fashion debacle for quite some time. I think it has to do with women being women and simply over thinking. Stop overthinking! Making white jeans winter appropriate is super simple if you pair with the following:
A sweater or turtleneck
Ok, nothing screams its winter more than a turtle neck. Just imagine white jeans and a sleek, tan turtle neck…it’s magic, chica!
Suede booties
Another obvious winter staple is the suede bootie–it’s a no brainer.
Winter blazer i.e velvet or wool
A heavy wool blazer like the one I’m wearing in this post is a smart winter wardrobe staple, and paired with white jeans, totally effortless.
Obvious winter accessories
Scarf, winter hat, gloves.
Neutral colors
If you take anything away from this post, this is the most important tip: pair your white jeans with neutral colors like creams, tans, and camel. It flows better and is so dashing. If you want a hard contrast or an edge, then add a black bag like I did.
Have you worn white jeans in the winter? If you haven’t, will you?
