It’s not news that probably 99% of people are spending their time in sweats these days. I was never a sweats outfit kinda girl but then 2020 happened. I’m sharing my simple tips on how to look put together even in your sweats outfit. Scroll below for my tips!
It’s all about the top
The top you decide to pair with your sweats is key to whether you look put together or not. I go for cropped tops or sweatshirts that have an elastic hem for clean lines between the sweats and your top. If you try to pair sweats with an oversized top, your shape gets lost — that’s when things start to bunch and look unflattering. For those of you who dare, try tucking your top into your bra for a super cropped top look.
Pair you sweats with a leather jacket
I love to pair my sweats with a leather jacket, it’s a no-fail piece to add to sweats to make for a put together and chic sweats outfit.
Clean kicks
The last piece of advice is to wear your sweats with clean kicks. Give your sneakers a wipe before you head out the door, you’ll always look put together in a pair of fresh kicks.
