I know it can be intimidating to rock a pair of leather leggings. I’m always afraid to look like Peggy Bundy, so when it comes to leggings, I try to stay away from heels.
But what’s the foolproof way of styling your leather leggings and not looking tacky?
First, wear an oversized top long enough to cover the camel toe. If your shirt ends right by your crotch area, then tie a jacket or sweater around your waist. Second, keep the shoes casual—which means wear flats (i.e. sneakers, combat boots, slip on flats, you get the gist).
This look is great for weekend errands, because it’s casual and comfortable enough, but you still get an effortless, cool vibe that you can’t get in workout clothes (which is what most moms wear when they’re on the go).
These are great shoes to pair with leather leggings:
Some cool oversized sweaters too:
How do you guys feel about leather leggings? Will you try them out this fall?
