Each Thanksgiving, I already know what I’m wearing because I’ve worn the same belly-proof outfit every year. My husband is big on sweats and being cozy on Thanksgiving, but me? I like to bring on the festivities in style. So how do you eat your heart out while still rocking a cute Thanksgiving outfit that hides your turkey and stuffing baby?
Answer: A non-fitted dress and over-the-knee boots
I like the over-the-knee boots because there’s no way around the fact that they are the statement-making, stylish piece of your ensemble. Even if you wore a pair of over-the-knee boots with an oversized T-shirt, you would still look like the girl who is confident and in style.
As for the non-fitted dress– I mean, this comes in so many shapes that it really works for anyone with any style. You could do an oversized sweater dress, a short flowy dress, a shirt dress, a flannel dress, anything that doesn’t hug your mid-section and leaves some belly breathing room.
