One thing I love about the winter is the outerwear. I can not get enough coats in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Since this is such an important piece in your winter closet, they tend to be a little pricier, and so sometimes you may have a coat on repeat for a few years, which is totally reasonable. In order to keep my coat closet stacked, I always look out for sales right before the winter hits.

Parka
A Parka is a longer length, hooded coat and is the coats of all coats for the winter. Normally has a fur-lined hood, big pockets, and high fastening collars. It can come in all different fabrics and they’ll all keep you warm.
Short Coat
Some people don’t want to wear a parka because they want more mobility, so they opt for a short coat. These aren’t as warm, but they are certainly still a winter must have.
Long Coat
Long coats are especially sophisticated which is why I love them. They also work so well as dress up coats.
Puffer Coat
For all the errands we still have to run this winter, sometimes we just want to be cozy and that’s where the puffer coat comes to play. Another one that comes in different shapes and lengths and looks great with any casual wear.
