Girl ain’t nobody got time for a little black dress this winter, I know that’s what you’re thinking. As dreary as the winter is, sometimes — a girl has got to wear a dress. *rolls eyes* There are two key style tips when wearing a little black dress in the winter, so ladies — take note! When you’ve got to get out of your layers, sweaters and cozy sweat pants — here’s how to throw on that little black dress this winter while staying warm and making a statement.
Stick to winter fabrics
The dress I’m wearing in this post is velvet. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that velvet = winter wear. Velvet will keep your booty warm but is also a statement making fun fabric to try.
Rock out in a statement making boot
I went bold with a white boot, I was hesitant to try them with a black dress (talk about a hard contrast). I went there and I low key love it! When rocking your little black dress in the winter I would 100% do a knee-high or over-the-knee boots (keep those legs warm honey). Try a bold color and make your boots the star of the show!
